Emperor
After months of waiting I made the long awaited journey to see Emperor in NYC. I must say it was one of the best shows ever!
Me, Dan, Kelly, Joe and Serge took a six hour car trip and got a hotel for the night.
Emperor played for about an hour and a half but it went by much quicker then that. The sound was awesome and their set was killer, despite the fact that Samoth was not there, due to the fact he was unable to enter the country.
It was a great venue, smaller then I expected. The drinks cost outrageous amounts of money and in the ladies room there was this women who handed us towels and turned the water on for us.
The rest of the eveing was less then fabulous for us. Aside from the fifty dollar poster, we also brought back some very sketchy people to the hotel room with us. Other then that it was a great time.
By the time we picked up Winter and got home I though my breasts were going to explode with milk. I don't know how I survived the ride home, but I did and it was worth every minute.
