SWIFFER

Frothy caramel machiatto topped with

Brown sweet cinnamon

Usually served with a handful of

Tasty dark chocolate covered coffee beans

Topped with a few drops of fresh

Espresso.

Runs forever on the stuff.

Fill up her cup and

Leave no room for air. And

Yes, she’d like it to go.

Meowski

Maybe today will be the day.

I mean, we have been waiting for years.

Zippity doo dah will I shout .

Zoinks! Will I scream as

My feet leave and return to the floor.

Everyone’s rooting for them to do it.

Oh my. Maybe today he will ask him…

“Will you marry me?”

Caedoodle

Carry me away from darkness. But

Abandon me not among light.

Enlighten me with your wisdom. But

Leave me to acquire my own.

Ignite the fires of my intellect. But know, while

Every road intrigues me,

Tell me not which path to take, but

Help me to find my own.

Sue

Moments like these,

Are sure hard to come by.

Knowing he’s there for me,

Is all I live for.

Nothing else allows me to,

Grow in all the ways intended for me.

A fairy tale for a prince?

Moments like these,

Open my eyes to things taken for granted.

Caring, loving, being,

He embodies them all.

Remind me of that which

I thought I never had, but had all along,

Emptiness is no more, in this moment.
