Daydreaming 002: Bored
Bored
She was bored out of her mind.
This was highly unusual for her - with her studies, training, and extracurricular activities - she was a teen with always so many to do, with so little time left for her to all of it. But not today, though, as she sat on one of the stone tables surrounding the university grounds, skimming over a mythology book without any idea on what she was supposed to be doing next.
She heard him groan next to her, lightly banging his head on the book that he was supposed to be reading. Hearing her stifle a laughter beside him, he gave her a lopsided grin. "Bored too?"
"Yeah"
"Well, I'm sleepy."
He lay his head on her shoulder, lightly nuzzling her neck and promptly closing his eyes and falling asleep. "G'night.."
He knew she wouldn't mind. She knew that she had known that. "It's still in the middle of the afternoon, idiot." she whispered with soft mirth, tucking stray strands of his hair behind his ear.
