Haven't been blogging much...
Last weekend we went to Norwescon, our yearly geek fest. It was ok, but I didn't feel very well through the whole thing, so it was just OK. I've noticed that since I've been on the vicadin for my headaches, that I seem to have a hard time dealing with stress. At NWC, I didn't feel like dressing up in the costumes that I normally use, and just had a hard time dealing with all the people that were there. Also, I am SOOO scatterbrained on Vicadin!
It'll start to be better next Tuesday, April 5th (my birthday of all things) when I get my surgery. It's a fairly traumatic surgery and it'll take about 2-3 weeks for me to start to feel better. I'm really not looking forward to it, but then I can't stand these headaches either! Matt will be able to be with me for the first 4 days. I'll at least have to be fairly competent to take care of myself on the following Friday, when he goes back to work. I've told Lifelong and Joann Fabrics that I'll be up and around around 5/1. That should be enough time to be on the mend.
I think between the big tv and WoW (World of Warcraft), I should be able to keep my mind off the pain...
