(no subject)
My photographer finally got in touch with me and now and I have an official time and date for our engagement photo session. I’m all sorts of nervous/excited about it. It’s one of the extra fluff bits that really don’t make or break a wedding or marriage but I really like the idea of just having some fun with the pictures. We decided on a star wars, ‘Forbidden love’ sort of theme with a Sith and Jedi. I will be the Sith and yes, I know this is odd since I can’t even really be Sithly when I’m playing a Sith in SWOTOR. Really, the choice came about mainly because I would just look better in black and I could never get Tom to wear make up to give him a more sithly appearance.
It’s a two hour session though so I want to do a quick change and also have more “normal” pictures. Though we will probably have a little bit of a video game theme in there as well because it’s just who we are and I just want this all to be fun. Companion Cube Survived the fire and I will use him! I was also thinking of making a sign that said “It’s dangerous to go alone, take this!” and there’s a ring in the sign. I thought it was a cute idea wrapped in a video game reference. I will try and think of more.
My biggest worry currently is that I want to wear make up to alter my appearance to something little more alien for the Star Wars pictures but I would have to quickly clean off all that and reapply make up for the normal pictures. My eyes are my biggest issue. My sister will be coming with us to help me but I’m just not sure how the quick change is going to work out. I have this image in my head that I’m going to wipe off the previous make up and the redness from the rubbing is just going to look hideous for pictures.
I suppose I will do a trial run today so I can see if I can get the look I want and then see how long it would take me to clean all that off and then apply a normal look. Wish me luck!

That first half was written by me earlier today. I have tested the make up and I was fairly satisfied. I think I will be able to pull it off and I am less anxious now.
