I hope you brought up also the fact that it's your body and he doesn't have the right to assume you owe any part of it to him just because he's your boyfriend. I mean, I don't want to sound like I'm not glad it worked out, because I am. But without that part of it, the same situation might come up again. And it's just something he probably hasn't thought about, the same way you didn't think about it... and as long as he doesn't think about it, it could continue to be a problem.

I think it would also help if I wasn't so passive agressive about it. Me actually coming out and going "Can't you wait?" seemed to have shaken him up. So, I think if I act resistant and coy, he thinks I'm actually teasing. So, I told him I would be more up front. When something makes me uncomfortable, he will know.
