FINALLY I get to update!!! I had to go to Moe's house after school because there was freezing rain (and thus ice-covered streets) so there was no one to pick me up and I have been DYING to write all day!

THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING!!!
It was just so so so so so amazing and fantastic and spectacular and wonderful!

I feel like saying too much, describing every moment, wouldn't be right. it would be so hard to do, because it was almost like a blur but like trying to put it all to words would somehow make it less.

There is one I have to say, to explain. Something happened to me last night! Toward the end, when they were playing songs from Three Cheers, I started to just feel different. and when they played Helena, I felt this immense release - like all this anger, pain, hurt, and resentment from my past just left me! This part of me that I didn't even know was missing suddenly came alive, I felt open and complete and real. This reason I could almost never listen to Helena, that I couldn't handle the thought, it became ok, that pain became something that wasn't so much good or bad as it was just a part of me and that was ok. I left that concert with a raspy voice, no hearing in my left ear, and an aching right foot, but also I left feeling GOOD, genuinely good and happy, in a way I have not felt in so incredibly long. I feel complete and happy and . . . I don't even know the word!

My Chemical Romance may very well have just moved up the totem poll of my musical adoration, past The White Stripes! I don't know but its possible! maybe because I've never been to one of their shows but I think also because MCR gives me something very different from TWS. something I can't explain, but MCR gets it, and I know that.

It was so great to go with Stephanie too!!! She is definitely my favorite person to go to concerts with now!!! ahhh! we got merch! I am MADLY in love with my tshirt!!! Its grey and has all different black clocks all over it and it says "My Chemical Romance" on the bottom and has white script across the back thats like 'welcome to the black parade' or somesuch! Stephanie's shirt caused much conversation in line:
-at the back-
Stephanie: What do you think that is in front? a gargoyle or a wolf or something?
Me: I guess so . . . whats he standing in?
Stephanie: A cemetary, I think.
-toward the middle-
Me: OK, he's definitely standing at the front of like, an army or something
Stephanie: Yeah, I see it. Why's he holding a skull?
Me: I dunno, cos its a skull?
-almost to the counter-
Me: Have you figured out that the thing on the front is? it looks like something hunched over
Stephanie: I . . . can't quite tell?
-at counter, with shirt in front of us-
Stephanie: ITS A HEADLESS KNIGHT HOLDING HIS SKULL!!!!!!!
Me: ohmygod, you're right! I can't believe it took us this long!
Stephanie: I'm totally getting it now!

I loved that I could scream, too. That was one of the best things - to just be able to fucking SCREAM and let everything out! It was great and the people were mostly nice too. We saw a really hot guy in the section to our right!!! holycrap and he had a lipring!! I almost melted. AND he fucking stood there for a whole minute and Stephanie didn't take a fucking picture! as soon as he sat down and we stopped staring, we looked at her phone and went "aw, shit"

yeah and our seats were really good, too. we could see the stage really well and we were quite close! It made me happy and dance-y. The more I think about it, the most amazing it was! Ray is the god of guitar, no doubt! fucking awesome guitar solos and just shredding and rocking out with the 'fro! and I loooove Mikey! ahhh! I love what he's done with his hair, and just his style of playing is so like *yes!* Speaking of hair, I love love love what Frank has done with his hair!!! Its all black and grown out and floppy over his face *couldhavedied* aaaaand Gerard is of course, Gerard. He has mad dancing-and-entrancing skills. ooooh how that man moves! and Bob definitely had stripey socks on! made my life!
-at the interlude/intermission which turned out to be a costume change-
Me: I wonder what's happening
Stephanie: They're probably being doused in cold water
Me: I wouldn't mind seeing that . . .
Stephanie: oh, me neither!

I am good. I genuinely happy, ok, good, and confidant! more than I have been in so long! Everything is amazing and I'm SO addicted to shows now! I love that music pulsing, coarsing through my heart and soul, becoming my blood!!! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

-while waiting in line for merch-
Me: *goes on for 3 minutes pondering outloud the ceiling's height, painting, and various electrical attachment*
Stephanie: So, on a scale of 1 to 10, how bored are you right now?
Me: *smilling brightly* Eleven!
