Gig wise you GOTTA do Brixton Academy! In Brixton... oddly, lol. Its the best. Pretty easy to get to on the tube. Its pretty safe, yeah. Totally! Its not a dodgy place or anything!
Um, personal recommendations:
Camden Market. Fabulous outdoor market. It has loadsa cool shit, accessories, posters, clothes - I dont know! Lol. Its just fab! Camden in general is awesome! Very quirky!
The Thames at night. Get off at the Embankment tube station and go out along the Millenium bridge and look out. Its STUNNING. Its all lit up and reflected in the water and yeah. *Gets REALLY excited*
Tate Modern. Gallery of modern art. OH I HEART IT SO.
Oxford Street. Of course. SHOPPING. All the big brand names - Topshop, H&M etc.
Covent Garden. Beautiful. More of a smarter shopping area and the market area is beautiful. They have little jewellry stalls, buttons, badges, ornaments etc. And loadsa quirky shops. Camden is more Scruffy-Rock Cool and Covent Garden is Posh-and-Pretty Cool.
Uhhmmm... LOL. Lemme know what you're into and I'll give you more tips! Also I can suggest good places to stay, getting around (always the tube, never a bus!) what tourist traps not to fall for (The boat tour suuuuucks! *Yawn*) and I'll take pictures when I go next week and I'll have a fresher look on stuff then too!

I love you. seriously. because the trip is like, my french teacher is running it and its this group, but me and my friends don't want to have to be doing stupid tourist stuff in groups, you know?

OK, well, that Camden Market sounds amazing that its like scruffy-rock cool, me and my friends aren't the posh types, I don't think. but like buttons and badges and stuff sounds great. I just don't want to be like, the "moron american tourist", you know? I want to really get a feel for really being in London.
My friends were like "oh we want to go to a realy underground show and feel cool about ourselves in London" and I was like "thats kinda hard to just like, DO, if you're not familier with the area and the city and how to get around and keep safe" you know?

Its always gonna be hard going somewhere you're not familiar with - but I can definately tell you what traps people fall into and give my opinion on place to go and not go, but definately when I come back on Sat or Sun i'll upload my pictures and give you a better look on London. I havent been for a year so its kinda hazy. Yeah. Lol.
