Art Open House
Its almost time for one of my favorite yearly events, my Holiday Open Studio Show. Once a year, we move most of the furnature out of our living room, and turn it into a small temperary art gallery.These are some pics from last year's show. I Handpaint giant (as well as smaller, regular size) Christmas ornaments as a fun extra thing, and always try to have lots of small originals as well as my usual artwork.
You can see in this last pic, how deeply enthused my poor dogs are about the whole thing...but luckily they perk up a bit once the customers start arriving!
Hubby has been baking his little heart out (russian tea cakes, assorted x-mas cookies, apricot and cranberry muffins and filled tarts, yum!) and I'm going crosseyed from all the ornament painting, but I *think* we are almost ready for the opening on Friday.
