So tired!!
So...I was up at 2am today to be at work by 3am to open at 4pm...we were so slow!! It was depressing. We had so much coffee in our stock room it was ridiculous. We needed it. We didn't really pick up until after 11am, you know after all the "door buster" sales everywhere ended. Go figure. It was CRAZY!! Our poor little store had people all over the place. I really hope the boys were able to close up at a decent time.
I got off work at 1230pm and Steve and I wandered the PX. I heard about a 25% Off Coach bags that was going on between 6pm-7pm so I wanted to check out their stock. So I found one I really liked and it was the only one of that style so I prayed and prayed it was there still at 6pm. We left, did some running around, went to the grocery store and bought some yummy Thai food for dinner cause the Chinese place Steve wanted to go to was closed. Aww. And went back to the PX around 5pm...the bag was still there, but then I was torn because Steve found one that he said 'suited me better". So I was torn, but in the end got the one I wanted from the start. It was meant to be!! One of the guys in my Comm. class was there getting a bag with his wife for his mother-in-law so we all chatted for a bit. Anyway...photo!
So Steve bought me this beautiful Coach bag! I had been asking for years for one and never found one that really stood out until I saw this one. I love it!! It was an early Christmas present since it was such a good deal and I was able to pick it out myself. I said last year I didn't want Coach anymore because everyone else had them, but this was too good a deal and I needed a new brown bag, plus...it's so pretty. Better than the $350 Michael Kors bag I saw at TJ Max the other day that I really really liked. Ah wells...another time perhaps.
Steve also wants me to order my dressform next pay period so it'll get here in time for Christmas. Since none of the parents and aunts/uncles want gifts we're getting everyone a holiday gift package from Harry and David. I got one for my aunt and uncle last year and they LOVED it! So that is what everyone is getting this year. Steve's iPod died so we ended up buying him a new one today, which is what I was gonna get him for Christmas. Ugh. Now I need to find something else.
Well I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday and if you braved the crowds today and went shopping I hope you found everything you needed to!
