back to the land of the living?
it's a little too soon to tell...
but i may actually be back to the land of the living, now that i've turned in the finals for the 4+ month project i was just working on. though, as always, when i say "finals", sometimes that means "not-yet-finals". Marketing departments often have something to say at the last minute.
but either way, the project is mostly done and mostly wrapped up, and any further work (if any) shouldn't be too big a deal, and for some of it at least, i know i'll be paid extra, so it's not too bad.
i'll be going out to the Vogue tonight for a little while, and for once, i won't need to run home to get 8 hours more work done afterwards. i'll likely be doing some work afterwards anyway, but A) i don't *have* to, and B) it's not grueling spinebending tendonsnapping painting, it'll just be website updates or something.
i know i promised an art update and i'm hoping to get one ready for later tonight or tomorrow. i don't have *all* that much new work i can show, since so much of my time in the last many months has been on just a couple projects, and i can't show any of that yet. but i can certainly scrape up a few things.
So, Vogue anyone? come support the night! rumor has it DJ Doug-E-Doug is even going to bring his own homemade cookies. not sure what cookies that taste like gravedust, cloves, ground velvet, and whiteface will taste like, but who knows...
