(no subject)
Here's the situation: I have to write a thesis, somewhere between 20 and 40 pagesish, which is totally do-able. Except we're entering week 5 of the quarter and I haven't started writing at all. I've barely done any research. I find any excuse not to work - today I had no reasonable distractions, so I spent an hour browsing ipod videos (I do not own a video ipod) and watching the iTunes visualizer dance around to etta james before takingh a 2 hour nap.
I don't think I'm totally behind the rest of the people writing theses this quarter ... but uuuugh. How the hell am I supposed to get started when I just won't make myself??? Help! Who's good at kicking themself into action?? I need some sort of magic motivational tip!!
