zealous to the point of what's mentally healthy
So, I joined the forum of Black library (place that publish warhammer 40k novels) cause the lastest book had some rather survere mishaps canon wise and I gave my honest oppinion of the book and stories in it (collection of short stories) and outlined some of the worst fuckups.
Turns out I riled up quite a hornets nest XD cause appearently alot of people arn't as dilligent in the background stuff of warhammer 40k as I am ^^; so I've cited alot facts from the pile of books I have these past days.
But the real kicker is that one of the authors that I took a swing at was non other than Gav Thorpe, one of the old War horses of Games workshop and Black library.
and we've spent these two past days exchanging views and I think I'm actually getting around to having him admit he made a mistake in the ending of his story ^_^
so I thought it only fair reach out a hand, and try to establish a senario where the series of events in his story were actually possible and made sense within the context of the established univers, you know as a peace offering. but it took some se'huuuu'rious twisting and stretching of "rules" of the setting.
Anyways. this man has some pull in Games workshop and Black library and I just took apart of one their lastest books.
I'm just daydreaming here, but he could offer me to proff read their new books, to make sure they stayed true to established mythoes of the univers and have cretins like CS Goto thrown in the dungeon.
How cool would that be ^_^ Wishful thinking, but pleasent thinking non the less.
