I twittered this, but: Fred Meyer is having a sale on Babylon 5 DVD sets: $20 each. I used to have them, but due to circumstances I've explained before, I no longer had mine. So it was nice to pick up cheap replacements.
I didn't do most of what I wanted to today, but I feel so relaxed that I don't feel bad. I got up, had a big cup of coffee in my Rodney McKay mug (made by
spubba), and read the NY Times. Then I puttered around the house cleaning up, because I have
marcolette for three nights this week starting tonight, plus the stove people are coming tomorrow. (I'm off, yay! Even if the privilege is costing me $3400, the price of a new gas furnace/stove.)
I went out for the DVDs while the sun was still out, stopping for a mocha at
Chocolati, and also snagged a box of Alki Bakery cinnamon rolls from the store. Maybe the sugar and caffeine will motivate me to get some boxes together. Not that many people were out, probably because roads were icy still.
Oh,
con_grazia--I got a box from you yesterday! I won't open it yet.
