I fell asleep last night way too early, hence my being awake before 3 AM.
I might have slept longer, but my aching joints woke me up. :P I did more garden clean up. I've been trimming the lavender lining my driveway. It's a slow process with my hands so weak and sore; I do it a foot at a time.
I heated some chicken sausage and made mashed potatoes, and opened a box of salad mix. My second mother has been suffering from a round of gout, and this is the sixth day I made dinner. We normally cook two or three days in a row (depending on leftovers) and then switch off. I have enough leftovers for tonight, for example.
I won the new Anne Perry book. :) Goodreads has a thing were you can enter giveaways for newly published books. I won a Jack Reacher novel published last year, too.
