I'm a house makeover show addict (I love all those programs where people flip houses after renovating them). I love design and garden creation. So I'd like to share two programs I watched last night.
This first one, last week's episode of My Houzz, had a couple of moments that made me all teary-eyed. It's Neil Patrick Harris doing a home makeover project on his big brother Albuquerque house. The living room has a huge cosmetic makover (one wall is demo'd) and an outdoor space is created that is incredibly inviting. (That family is so loving, it really touched me.)

Her budget was more limited, and I get the feeling his place is a rental, so it's more cosmetic than the other project. But her results are fabulous, and because they are more modest in budget, it's inspiring for us regular folks who can't just click the buy button on Houzz.
