Fannishly, I shipped Professor X and Magneto back in 2000, and while I loved McKellen in LotR, I am a long-time Picard fan, so I've followed Stewart's work for many years. I met him once at a Star Trek convention--very cool. He doesn't sign autographs at cons, but he does sign photos to benefit Comic Relief, so I have one. :)
