It was so sunny in Seattle, what a treat. I spent the morning gardening furiously before doing some laundry and going out for the day. I saw
Ernest & Celestine, a charming French children's movie, at the SIFF Film Center. Seattle Center was crowded with sun-and-fun-seeking families, nice to see. Then I went to Ballard for a ramble, capped off with a gelato (chocolate and espresso, half of each) from D'Ambrosio Gelato. It's the best place in town:
http://www.dambrosiogelato.com/. Their sorbet is delish, too, especially the melone (cantaloupe).
I did some shopping today, too, because I had a new great-nephew born recently: Kaden Jeremiah. He's beautiful. :)
Clover is having its 10th anniversray sale.
I stopped by
Thai Siam in Crown Hill for dinner for me and my second mother. She is having her last chemo session next week, and when she's recovered, she'll have the lumpectomy. She was lacking appetite today, but after some tempting, agreed to mango coconut sticky rice and some Royal Thai Fried rice (chicken curry and fresh pineapple). I want her to keep up her strength.
