Seattle T-birds out of the playoffs after the second round
They lost both games, last night and tonight. They got shut out all four games, although a couple were close. The Rockets were just a much better team. I am proud of the boys for working hard, though. Next year...!
In November I won a game-worn jersey raffle for a Matther Barzal rookie jersey. I got it signed by Barzy at the ice skating event in December.
And I also won a team signed wooden hockey stick earlier in the month.
Last night I won the hockey lap quilt raffle!! The quilt squares were each designed by the players and then signed, so I have a fun coverlet and memory of the 2013-14 Thunderbirds.
I did buy quite a few raffle tickets all season. :)
Looking forward to seeing some of you at the Bitchin' Party on Friday and Saturday! I am meeting up with my out-of-town family on Sunday. They want the Seattle touristy experience of Pike Place Market, etc. I think there might be Segway tours in store?
