good morning, lovely people
As usual when I don't post, it means life got too hectic. In this case, work deadlines (surprise deliverables) meant my last 10 days have been stressful but productive. I'm still thinking there's a cold virus trying to assert itself, too.
I have lots of hockey this weekend to blow off steam, though. Games each night. Last night, the T-birds lost to the Tips, but I have another T-birds game tonight (it's the Ronald McDonald Hockey Challenge, too, so double game which I was too tired to watch). And there's a hockey booster club event Sunday--bowling with the players--that I will watch and maybe get a few of the guys to sign my team-signed jersey. I am missing the two new guys' sigs plus the three players that were gone to the world juniors during the holiday skate event. Sunday afternoon I have a Tips game with a friend I haven't seen in several months. T-birds clinched their play-off position, but the Tips are still looking to improve their standing.
ETA: T-birds lost on Saturday, and so did the Tips on Sunday. But the Canada gold medal game was fun! Also, I got all the player signatures I was hoping to get. :D
BTW, I was bummed about the U.S. Women losing to Canada in the medal round, and about the U.S. Men losing to Canada yesterday. :(
