Let's talk tea...

I just received Teavana Strawberry Rose Champagne Oolong, which I highly recommend. The rhubarb, white grape, and champagne give a tartness that I sweetened with a bit of raw sugar. I've also tasted it blended with Peach Tranquility herbal tea, which is lovely by itself. The chamomile is subtle, a good thing IMO. That combo is good hot or cold.

My favorite find of the holiday seasonal offerings this year has been this White Chocolate Peppermint Rooibos. Republic of Tea Dream by the Fire is a good one, too, if you like rooibos. It's milder than the peppermint. For black tea lovers, the Tea of Good Tidings is nice.

Last year, I really liked the Crate and Barrel edition of RoT's Fa La La La La Holiday Red Tea. I'm having that right now. I have a bit left; sadly it was a limited edition and is no longer available. :(

Another past limited edition love was 2010's RoT's Year of the Tiger tea, a chocolate orange rooibos. I stocked up and had some for a couple years, but am now out. :((((

Teas currently available that I highly recommend:
Golden Moon Tea's delightful Coconut Pouchong, one of my all-time faves, which was introduced by
con_grazia, IIRC.

RoT's Strawberry Vanilla Rooibos, which is good with milk or by itself. It has enough flavor to drink unsweetened.

And there's a fruity herbal tea that
tao sent, but I am blanking on the source. I really liked that one, I recall.

tea, food
