How fast can you go from no jobs to two jobs? One day? Try one hour.
Randomly walking by a salon in Grant Park after my doctors appointment this morning my Grandma was like "why don't you try here, you're always playing with your hair. just tell them you aren't trained for hairstyling but you can help out in different areas."
So I did. The woman I asked immediately gave me to the woman beside her, who turned out to be the manager. She then shot up in her chair and scooted me out to the tables outside Tim Hortons. The interview started immediately, when could I work etc. She told me she'd just put a job in the paper that day. She wants to call me Monday to give me training hours, she's also going to get some other girls this weekend because girls drop from this job like flies apparently.
Then I returned home immediately where I was greeted with a call from Walmart, have an interview in the Visions department tomorrow morning. When Olwyn interviewed me she told me if I get a call back I've gotten the job, they're just trying to get me a schedule and put me in a department.
