A Week from Hell!!!!
Geesh took me so long to find LJ, just need to talk to something, hope this helps. Last week my PC blew up, got another one but had to format, so once again I lost everything, but hey that was nothing compared to what happened last night. Around 11:30pm, I heard what I thought was fireworks going off, then came the sound of sirens so eerie at that time of night. I thought well least the fools letting of the fireworks were gonna get it big time....hmmm. The sound got closer, I was so sure it was fireworks, but went out the back to have a look and frig, the house behind was an inferno, my god I nearly died. I went back inside and about 10 mins later heard 2 explosions, so went out again to look. I swear the flames shot 100 feet in the air, by this time my landlady and her son came out also. Then the Police told us to imediately evacuate, which we did. From there we were taken to the PCYC for protection away from the danger zone, was there for 4 hours. We returned home to total darkness, the power to the area had been disconnected, so was stumbling around in the dark. Couldn't sleep there was to much noise coming from the fireys searching for bodies. Then this morning I went to get my phone out of the car and was confronted by the ABC news reporters wanting an interview, the older folk asked if I could do it, shit like I wasn't a mess either fuck...anyway I did it so they would just get out of our hair, so guess will be on the bloody news tonight grrrrrr. Then got interviewed by the CIB, so gonna hide out inside now, screw the damed media. Anyway just needed a release from a terrifying night and shit off a week.
