Monica and I went to see the fireworks tonight. It was really good. There were some really adorable little girls sitting next to us.
AND, there was some guy stabbed a few feet behind us. People around us starting getting up and rushing forward, I looked back and saw some guy face down on the ground not moving. Some other guys picked him up and kind of drug him away -- for all the cops we saw down there, not one was around when this happened. Monica kinda shrugged at me, then sat down and watched the rest of the fireworks and I did too.
All told, it was a good night.
