So... tired...

There are times I wish I could stay up as late as I used to...

Last night, after the art show, I went to the after party. I got my cards read by my dear friend Patti. As usual, her time line for me was off. This is a given with her readings on me. Everyone else, she seems to be spot on. Anyways, in my "future" was exactly what had happened last week. Keep in mind, that I haven't talked to her in a few months and she isn't online, nor does she know anyone that I have been talking to lately. Usually the future is the future and not the past. So that was interesting. I was starting to have a bit of acid reflux and was getting pretty tired when I realized that the sun was coming up. Whoops! So I got home at 6:30 this morning and went to bed. I woke up a few hours later, and decided it would be best to postpone a date until another day, for a few reasons. I am tired, but I need to get some work on the cabinet done and I thought about the traffic I would be driving back in (while tired) and that was no good. So I explained it to the guy and he understood and it has been rescheduled. And I got a shout out on the radio (at SMCC). I feel special.

Anyways... The cabinet is going a bit slower than I'd like at this point. This is mostly because I want to paint to be totally dry and have at least two coats on the visible/used most surfaces. The cooler air is not helping the paint dry fast, but is helping it do the self leveling thing to reduce brush marks. So I am still painting... One more coat of paint on the main part of the cabinet and the shelf and I can install those parts. Then I will screw them in place and the patch and paint the two visible attachment points. If I am lucky I may even be able to attach the counter top and play with some tiles to figure out what I want to do with it. The doors will be at least another day or two down the road.

And I need a nap before I go to Ruin tonight.

BTW, I am going to Faire on Sunday. Let me know if you are going and we can bump into each other. I will most likely be wearing my Turkish outfit.
