Ahhh....Spring Break

Feb 27, 2004 05:06

You know...being an RA isn't all that bad. There is a lot that goes with it, and you basically give up your life to be one...but I like it. God has me here for a reason...a reason that only a few of us know about ;-).
I can't wait till I can leave. I have been here for almost 3 weeks, and though I love being here and I love school, I like being home as well back in my own bed. I am going to have a great time this coming week. I go through my Fellowcraft training at the Masonic Temple in North Branch at 6:00 SATURDAY MORNING! Not cool, but hey, I want to do this, so I guess I have to roll with the punches. If you want to know more about what all that is, or want to know what a Mason is, feel free to ask. Then on Sunday, my father and I are going South. Now this is where all the fun is. 3 words. DOWN HOME COOKIN! Yes, biscuits and gravy, fried apples, chicken and dumplins, apple pie, fried chicken, new potatoes...need I say more? I am gonna be fat when I get back, but oh it is such good food. And I love my family. They are the best people in the world. But we get to put the smack down on a few people as well. My cousins are renting a house from us...and they aren't paying rent....so we are removing them from the building...bound to be a good time...and my grandfathers nurse is accepting gifts from him...not your normal ones either...rumor has it he gave her his dining room set....she has a butt whuppin coming her way, from someone who knows the ethics of health care...I will teach her a little lesson....so some people are going to be gettin a good ole' KENTUCKY BUTT WHUPPIN!!! Because with my family, you mess with one of us, and you might as well be messin with the whole family. And trust me, that is not good for ANYONE'S health. Well, I will let you all know how things went...if I got any jail time or not (just kidding!). Hope everyone has a good spring break, and may God bless every one of you, and may he bring you good fortune and peace....and a fun spring break! Peace ya'll.
