Patterns

So there was a teaser on the patterns that I picked up at the Civil War Rememberance weekend at Greenfield Village.

The first pattern is PRP010 1850′s Basque Jacket by Past Reflections Reproductions. I had my copy autographed by Jackie Wakeling-Jacobs, the brilliant lady who made the pattern, based off of an original in the Past Reflections collection.

The second pattern is a Low Spoon Straw Bonnet Pattern by The Dressmaker’s Shop. You sew braiding onto your copy of the pattern piece, and follow the instructions, until you circle it around at the back and add milliners wire as directed.

The third pattern is Past Pattern’s #701 1858-1862 Pleated Bodices. Based on period research, this is a drop shoulder pleated blouse into a waistband, and a lining.
