"Spec" All-Stars
Wanted to give a little shout-out to all the contributors to my "Spec" anthologies (Jack-o'-Spec, Retro Spec, Cinema Spec, and Sporty Spec), but particularly to those who have appeared in three or more anthologies.
The incomparable Lyn C. A. Gardner has sold work to all four anthologies, and in both the fiction and poetry forms, so how talented is she! Her contribution to the just-released Jack-o'-Spec is the poem "The Chant of the Black Cats."
Contributing to three anthologies each are Paul Abbamondi, Robert Borski, G. O. Clark, Jude-Marie Green, Marge Simon, and Cliff Winnig. The range these authors have shown is amazing. In Jack-o'-Spec, Cliff gives us a Steampunk ghost story set on Mars, "The Experiment." Marge delves into an alternate history of Halloween with "Traditions." Jude-Marie (Kelly) takes on witches with "Defying Gravity," while Robert offers a romantic SF/fantasy poem, "Halloween (The Planet)."
