Jack-o'-Spec: first reading complete
I've just completed the first reading of all submissions for Jack-o'-Spec: Tales of Halloween and Fantasy. If you sent a submission and haven't received a reply from me--an acceptance, a rejection, or a hold notice--you should query immediately, as I did not receive your submission. I will be selecting 6 to 9 more pieces from the submissions I have on hold. Give me at least a week to wrap everything up. I've accepted 17 pieces so far, and they're listed at the bottom of the guidelines page:
