Sounds like how things were in my house and since most parents don't want to bother with making sure their children get an education it sounds as if someone will have to step in. However I can see an issue with that since it will cause the parents to have no control over what their children are taught but hell at that the point they would end up there I would have to say they have already proved they don't care about their children. And well the child Tax credit is already used and abused to the point a couple came in and got their taxes this last week they had given 2 kids one parents last name and the other 2 kids the other parents last name so they both could get the child tax credit. And what is even worse is the child tax credit only helps people who make between $35k and 20k any less or anymore and it doesn't help so it doesn't even help those it was designed to help. But I think parents should have to own up to the state getting stuck taking care of their kids I think that should happen to any parent that has a kid in JUV but that is just me.

They should have to pay if thier kid is in juvi, but most kids aren't there long. Part of the idea here is that it is a minimum of half the school year. and yea mostly this will hit parentes who either Don't work with thier kids or whose kids have overpowered them to the point that they Can't control the kids and the kids control Them, an incresingly common situation.
