Those "reports" are absolute, utter bullshit. Our news media is so terrified of seeming to be anti-black that if Jack the Ripper were around, and found to be black, they'd do all they could to hide that little fact---just as they did to Winston Moseley, the killer of Kitty Genovese (look her up).

The way to avoid being "killed by the police" is to not resist arrest, and ESPECIALLY not point a lethal weapon at them! The term for that is "suicide by cop." And that does include St. Tamir Rice. I've seen pictures of the "toy gun" he was waving around, and it looks very, very real---real enough to be used as a prop on a movie or in a play with no problem.

It's also looking more and more like St. George Floyd died of a bad drug OD. If you see the whole video of what happened, it looks a lot less like police brutality and a lot more like the cops trying to deal with someone who was flipping out very violently. But, as I have said before (to no goddamned avail; why won't you believe me?) our American news media is utterly one-sided and biassed, and does its best to bury stories that make blacks look bad while shouting any story that makes blacks look like victims (no matter how much they brought their victimhood on themselves) from the rooftops.

Yeah, I'd have no problem shooting rioting football fans. Personally, flamethrowers would strike me as more...amusing...but in Europe, they're not easy to use without damaging real people's property. Rioters in general are absolutely deadly dangerous, as dangerous as great white sharks in a feeding frenzy. Putting riots down, and killing the rioters so the others get the message, would be a good thing in the long run.

If you want to play "what about..." I can play that game too! What about John Weed? He was at a fair in Maryland, minding his own goddamn business, when two black kids came and asked him for a dollar, and punched him when he said "no." He's dead, and the kids got sentenced to...get this...anger management training! Or how about DeMarquise Elkins? A little boy in his stroller, shot by a black punk who was angry that his attempt to rob the boy's mother had come to nothing? Or Cannon Hinnant? Five years old, riding his bicycle, and his (black) neighbor comes over and shoots him dead through the head for "riding his bike on (his neighbor's) lawn! Who mourns for them? Which of them is a cause celebre worthy of tearing our cities apart? Some worthless black criminal comes to the end all criminals come to eventually, though, and just because he's got a dark skin, our cities go up in flames!

FWIW, just getting the virus doesn't even seem to make a lot of people sick, and of the ones who do get sick, the majority do recover. We deal with the same sort of thing, or worse, every flu season...but since some people are in need of something, anything, to draw national attention away from their senile, gropey, certain-to-lose Democratic candidate, it's been made out to be somewhere worse than the Spanish Flu, up around Captain Trips level.

Why would they mention Moseley's ethnicity? It has no bearing on the murder or the trial. And as long as there was a photo, his ethnicity is clear enough.

How much are you willing to bet that if Tamir Rice was white and playing with a toy gun, however realistic, the police wouldn't have shot him? He did nothing wrong except pointing a toy gun around, which millions of kids everywhere has done. It's not elevating him to sainthood to say that he was innocent in this instance and did not deserve to die.

One would think pointing a lethal weapon would be automatic "suicide by cop", but not for some mass shooters somehow. The racist p.o.s. who killed all those people in Charleston got his Burger King meal after being arrested.

I don't know which sources you were reading, but Floyd was autopsied after death and the coroner very clearly said the cause of death was asphyxiation. The man was not moving much and kept saying he can't breathe, until the very last moments, when he moved a little because he's in the throes of death.

I don't believe the media is totally one-sided because there is Wall St Journal & Fox News. And even the left-leaning newspapers are so keen to being 'fair and balanced' that they almost always find at least one expert to give the other side of the argument. Sometimes to the point of being ridiculous, especially on Trump's lies. It's only recently that they started fact-checking the man.

The teenager in the John Weed's case was tried as a juvie, which always gives lighter sentences. Also, I don't think the program he was sentenced to can be taken at home? The prosecutor could have asked for the teenagers to be charged as adults. DeMarquise Elkins was sentenced to life in prison. Cannon Hinnant's death was reported in many media outlets, despite the memes saying otherwise.

So what does that have to do with police brutality? The crimes you listed don't have the black preps hurting the victims because they were white. And the police weren't involved in their deaths. Yes, the preps got arrested and tried without being killed, but people were protesting because a disproportionately large percentage of black people were killed by the police, whom should be held at a higher standard.

The virus wreaks havoc in the sufferers' bodies, like permanently screwing up their lungs, etc. So it's not like the regular flu; there are a lot more people dying from it in a shorter period of time, for example.. And asymptomatic people can still pass it around. This is why people should be masked, not just to keep from being infected, but also to not infect other people.

Also, I don't understand where this distrust of expert come from, especially of medical personnel. From what I've heard him say, Fauci is trying to stay on Trump's task force precisely because he consider Covid-19 too horrible to leave to Trump's yes-men. So if he considers the situation that bad, I'm just gonna go with his level of concern. And quite frankly, although the US election is quite important to a lot of other countries, not everyone is trying to distract people from Joe Biden. So, to flip the question, why do you think the rest of the world is so worried about it?
