An unexpected visitor
I was coming home this afternoon, and wanted to go sit out in my back yard for a while. Much to my surprise, once I'd sat down, I noticed, ten feet or so away, a fawn lying in the grass! I looked at it, it looked at me, and I went up and quietly got my camera to take a few pictures.
I didn't see its mother, but I knew that it wasn't far away. I very carefully did not do anything to scare either deer, and all was coolness.
