Ashlei and I have stumbled on a good incentive plan to finish our papers. Whoever gets done last is the one delaying a trip to Taco Bell for celebratory NACHOS.

And it's just wrong to delay the nachos, man.

In other news, 7stages is being REALLY slow about accepting my claim. I'm going to start posting fics anyway, seeing as I've already written two and half, which has to be a time record with me. (Almost three stories in two weeks? Whoo!) Plus, I really like the prompt lists they have, but instead of claiming more I may just use the prompts unofficially. I like having fixed structures and preset hints like that. I'm starting to get ideas for some Scar stories now.

Also, because I can't afford another writing pressure this month what with having five essays to write (and FMA stifling any original ideas that might be forming), I'm just going to count anything and everything I write (that isn't school-related) towards my NaNo word count. My personal goal, therefore, is not to write one comprehensive novel in a month, but to write 50,000 words worth of fiction of any kind in a month. Hopefully that'll work out better.

Tonight, essay and nachos. This weekend, HOME!!1!11one! With voting, lots of history reading, one more school essay and some fic. (And GOOD FOOD OMG.) Next Monday, fic-posting time! (Greed/Martel, Greed/Kimbley, Greed/Dorochet, and maybe a Scar/Scar's brother, who I'm thinking of naming Daoud, but that won't actually be slashy, it'll be... um... disturbing and original and... I don't know. Something you just have to read to understand. I think the reason I want to write it is just to express what it's supposed to be about, and the only way to express what it's about is to write it. Damn tautology! It's a frustrating but intriguing state to be in as a writer. I haven't experienced it before.)
