Last cast party for Joseph was lots of fun. There were tears, and embarrassing presents. Vootie.
Signs of a great party: getting elbowed in the face in the pool, and tripping over your own extra-long towel to fall smack down onto the corner of a brick stair. Yup yup. Bruised eyebrow and bruised kneecap. Not knee -- you can't see it -- the bruise is on the bone. Lovely.
Also sign of a great party: getting a big wet shirtless straight-out-of-the-pool hug from the one boy I've had a brain-frying crush on for four years.
And the pain vanished in an instant.
