Starring manga-Nii as Daniel and the 2nd OST cover art version of Claus Valca as Jesse. With a background yanked from some gaming site. Woot.
It rains all the time in future!Memphis. I've decided this. And I've also discovered that there's a good reason why Jesse is not thrown completely out of his depth when government operatives and assassin-types start showing up everywhere he goes, and that is because there is a long-standing tradition of playing assassins in Jesse's neighborhood. So, hah. I love it when perfect plot points fall out of the blue right into my stories.
And... I finished Last Exile. And... um, well, for one: WTF? Clearly I am going to need to watch the ending a few more times, at least for the whole Alvis/Exile/Mysteria thing, which was just so many pretty lights the first time around. But the rest of it I did follow, and... guh. Guh, I say. I am speechless. (Yma: I swear I will be rambling and venting and forming theories and opinions and all such crunchy goodnesses... just as soon as I can get my brain back in gear. Owie.)
I just wanna take Dio home and give him a big hug and some shiny things to play with and some cake and never make him have a birthday ever ever ever again.
