So, I broke my glasses.
Things I have learned from this experience:
1. Spring-loading was created by some unholy power of darkness, much like Microsoft.
2. Do not attempt to tighten screws on one’s glasses, no matter how desperately in need of tightening they look.
3. Glasses will stay on one’s face with only one earpiece, but only at the high cost of one’s sanity and depth perception.
4. My desk chair has amazing chameleon-esque powers: it gains a fascinating, minuscule metallic-screw-like pattern whenever it contains a minuscule metallic screw.
