music tradition
Every year I make a birthday compilation CD -- an amalgam of everything that represents the year for me, from the themes of good TV shows I've recently discovered, to songs that I associate with fics I've written, books I've read, friends I've made, places I've been, etc, to music that just, for one reason or another, holds a lot of meaning to me personally. I started the tradition for myself when I was 11 and my mom picked it up a couple years ago. I try to condense the high points of the year down into 80 minutes of good listening, and I figure in 30 years or more it'll make for a really interesting study in the evolution of my mind.

If anyone's interested in any previous years' tracklists, I'd be happy to post them. I'm also pondering the possibility of making a new page on Eraser Dust for all the lists.
