I GOT MYST IV: REVELATION! I GOT MYST IV: REVELATION! WHEEE! *squees like a dying fangirl*
And guess what? I've only been playing a little over an hour AND I'M ALREADY STUCK! YES! *punches the air in triumph*
The Myst series is my one and only concession to gaming. And a new one is always a big deal because they take me ages and ages to play through. I did finally finish the first Myst, although I never got into the spaceship world or the world with all the tunnels, because once you figure out the trick of the game you don't have to actually go anywhere (the original Myst's biggest flaw). I finished Myst III: Exile with... urm... a some help from the "strategy guide" (read "cheat book"). Riven, though. Riven I've been stuck on for over seven years. And if anyone knows what the hell Boiler Island is for, please feel free to tell me.
And now, WOOT! Myst 4! This oughta keep me away from those dust bunnies for a few days... or weeks... er...
*sigh* I'm hopeless at these games, I really am. I suck at the logic; I'm good at the tedious bits; I get paranoid because I'm all alone on a bunch of frickin' islands and I have a fear of deep water and heights. And yet I still play them and love them to bits. Go figger.
