Because I want to say IDK all the time.
I don't post here often enough anymore. Just waving a hello to those who still frequent LJ rather than the artist presently known as Facebook. I've fallen prey to both FB and text messaging - what will become of me? (But I spell out and use proper punctuation in all my texts, so.)
I had a cold this past week - it's almost gone but there's still an annoying amount of mucus that likes to start leaking from my face at really inopportune times.
Other than that, it's the end of the semester. ASKLSLADJFLDJ;SD etc.
Still to go:

Lord of the Rings class is basically completed. We're having one more meeting to talk about the last movie and to have one last communal geekout, pretty much. I love Dr. S., enormous fangirl that she is. "Haldir is the gayest elf!"
Since we're on the topic of lists,
My REALLY optimistic list of shows I want/wouldn't mind to watch/re-watch/catch up on over the summer:
-Kings
-Dollhouse
-House
-Monk
-X-Files (season 9)
-Lost seasons 4 & 5 again after 5 is over. Second viewing for the details, you know.
-Battlestar Galactica
-Psych
-Angel
-Eureka & Torchwood start new episodes in June & July! Yay!
-The Doctor Who specials. Still haven't seen Easter.
-Carnivale & Fringe, for the mindfuckery
-Jericho & Jeremiah, the two "Jer" shows I can never keep straight
-Invisible Man
-Joan of Arcadia
-West Wing
-Rome
-Kyle XY
-Veronica Mars, since I've heard so much about it
-Maybe, MAYBE Heroes. My disinterest is pretty hard to shake at this point. I've heard Parkman gets a turtle spirit guide. That is literally the only tempting thing.
-Arrested Development
-Dead Like Me
-Kitchen Confidential (I had no idea Nick Brendon was on it!)
-Pushing Daisies
-The Tick (oh god, I need to see Richard Alpert being Batmanuel. That is amazing)
-The Dead Zone
-The 4400
-Dark Angel (I started it and was truly surprised at how not-bad it was)
-Invasion
-Millenium & The Lone Gunmen... hell, I finally broke down and bought and re-watched X-Files seasons 8 & 9, I might as well watch the whole XF-verse.
-Various anime I've unintentionally abandoned... Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist and Last Exile mainly.
If you've got any TV shows or movies (preferably shows, they last longer) to recommend, fire away. I have Netflix, a lot of free time, and craft projects that I like to do while watching TV.
Things to keep me occupied this summer, since I'm not staying on campus and I probably won't find a job:
-Online Spanish 3 & 4 classes, thus fulfilling my foreign language degree requirement
-Tae Kwon Do classes at the Wellness Center with the same teacher I have now in Columbus - I just found out the other day that he teaches in Amory as well. Yay!
-Possible sewing lessons with my aunt?
-Possible yardwork to at least get a start on repairing the tree damage to the garden/backyard? I feel the need to be active this summer. Last summer I languished and it was miserable.
-Ride my bike (possibly to Tae Kwon Do class, IDK)
-Something crafty for Kaycee (it may count as a late birthday/graduation/this year's Christmas present all in one... but I've got to make you something! That's how I roll. :D)
-DragonCon costumes! For me: Henry Gale (easy peasy) and a random Rohirrim woman to go with our group of Random LotR Women. Help
kiyou_hime,
cantatedomino and Lizzie with their respective costumes of an Entwife, Eowyn and Goldberry. Might also assist with other costumes depending.
-I'm toying with the idea of making a Barbie recon of Donna from Doctor Who. I really wanted to do a D*Con costume of her Unicorn and the Wasp flapper dress, but I've determined that it would be prohibitively expensive even to try. So I might make a doll-sized version instead. I love Donna. :)
-Go see Earth, Star Trek, Wolverine, Harry Potter 6 and various other movies I have written down in a list somewhere.
-Get back to work on that t-shirt quilt I started to make?
-Cross-stitch - I have 3 pre-bought ones left to finish, but I think that after that I'm going to move on to the realm of making my own patterns and having more creative input in what I make. I only buy kits I like, of course, but I'm getting kind of tired of the mechanical action of creating someone else's picture. I could at least cross-stitch my own photos and designs.
-Research graduate programs. Figure out what the hell I want to do with myself after college.
-Catch up on a hell of a lot of reading.
-Get up early every day (hah... well, I can try)
-Fiddle around with my Honors project idea and maybe do some academic reading to that end.
-Drink alcohol on my birthday for the principle of the thing
-Read the last volume of Trigun Maximum after re-reading the series and re-watching the anime, and then have a moment of mourning for the end of my first anime/manga love.
IDK. More stuff.
I should really go to sleep now, I have to be up in not so many hours.
