It's very soothing. Most of LOST's music is very calm, which is why the jarring stuff really pokes you in the ear like getting whopped with Eko's Jesus stick. Hey, you give up on Angel, then you give up on Angel. I stand by my statement that third season just sucks and 4 and 5 are much better, but don't force it. You'll just resent the whole show, good parts included.

Same thing with Paper Towns. I liked it, but you don't. Simple as that.
