Kim Manners died.
This is strangely upsetting to me. Like, more than I would have thought. I somehow missed the lung cancer memo a few months ago, but even if I hadn't, it's still... sudden. He just directed the episode before last of SPN. And. Man. Kim Manners. The hell, universe? The hell? Stop taking them before they're done! He was only my mom's age.
I have to go watch a Manners X-File episode now, if I have a DVD with one of his here with me. He directed "Leonard Betts," the one about the EMT who ate cancer. That's kind of creepy now. I wish I had "Folie a Deux" with me. That's my favorite of his.
