Nothing much except for YAY exams are over! They seemed harder than last semester's exams. I don't know if that was because they actually were or there were just more of them. I took a crapload of hours this semester. And I'm doing the same thing in the spring, so... heh. I prefer keeping busy anyway -- if I have too much time on my hands during a semester, I feel like I'm wasting my scholarship.
Besides, next semester I'll be taking a lot of classes I know I can enjoy -- fiction workshop (love writing), Spanish (love my adorable little professor H.), theatre history 2 (love theatre, history and Dave), and a Lord of the Rings night class seminar with a professor I've never had but who is apparently a total fangirl and a Tolkien scholar on the side. Sweet! Plus a couple other something-or-others. Working on theatre shows for credit, literary theory, another lit class, etc etc.
But right now I'm just down with being home for a month and being able to read the things I want to read. No more world lit -- it's time for Jim Butcher, Terry Pratchett, Michael Crichton and some new YA fantasy series I haven't had a chance to check out yet. (I kinda love keeping track of what's new in children's and YA fantasy/sci-fi -- it's my non-literary reading pleasure. My mac & cheese books.) I'm also sworn by oath to watch at least a season of Angel, since I traded my willingness to give that show a shot for
newtypeblue's willingness to read the Dresden books. Hey, I do love a good fandom trade. (Codex Alera <-> Supernatural swap! Life is good. ^_^)
And I've got a bunch of Christmas presents to make and/or order! Fun times all around. (I swore I was going to make stuff for a lot of people, but then I found a few storebought things that just screamed perfection, so... they still might get a little homemade something on the side. :D)
Somewhere in there I'm gonna try to shove out the last bit of Theseus' Paradox. And I may start posting it soon (because if I don't, I never will).
I got nothin' else. Time for more of Hogfather and then bed.
feeling oddly infected with Christmas cheer this year,
