Hi! I'm still alive. It's amazing, I know. I zoned out of humanity there for a while because I briefly skyrocketed from stressed to anxious to hysterical (in terms of internet communities and my writing, anyway). Had to leave the sane people alone so I could calm down. It's very annoying when it happens, but it happens. Much in the way that shit ( Read more... )

If Donna dies and Rose comes back to the main universe permanently, there will be hell to pay.

You hear me, Rusty?

HELL. TO. PAY.

Also, I hadn't even considered how awesome having Donna, Jack, Mickey, and Martha all together would be. I knew they were all (probably) coming together, but it just never really clicked until I saw it written. Maybe Jack brings the remnants of Torchwood Three with him and recruits a Tin Dog and a Doctor? (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

Finally, Farscape is awesome and I am now inspired to write about it.

Donna vs. RTD celebrity deathmatch. Donna wins so hard it isn't even funny, even with the handicap of being fictional. (But I'm pretty sure Catherine Tate could kick RTD's ass, too.)

I'm still iffy on the notion of Martha and/or Mickey on TW. All the usual issues of DW second-string actor dumping ground, unfair and unreasonable displacement of the Ianto-Gwen hierarchy, and general exclusion of the audience apply. I'd really like the big 5-part serial for next season to introduce one or two new unknowns. But I'd go for one unknown and one DW transfer -- so Martha plus a newbie would be great.

But DUDE. YES. Mickey, Jackie, Donna, Jack & possibly Martha all in one place? The universe WILL implode.

WHEE I am so glad you like Farscape. I've never managed to successfully get anyone else interested in it before. What episode are you on, out of curiosity?

I've finished the first season and the cold opening to the first episode of the second season. So for me,everyone's alive, but Crichton and D'Argo are still apart from everyone and Aeryn is doing something with Crais.

P.S. - I found the perfect yellow fabric. It's a spandex blend, so it will breathe but it won't wrinkle. I got all the store had, which was 4 yards, but I think that should be enough for both costumes. The biggest thing you need to do is find some black leggings and preferably a tight black mock turtleneck -- that would be ideal for adding the hood to. But a crew neck or a real turtleneck would work also, just with some adjustment.

I must admit I really loved Midnight. I didn't realize it was an RTD ep until today actually, I didn't notice who the writer was and I was suprised. And I couldn't actually see much in the way of a flaw in it. I just generally enjoyed it ( ... )

Too true about the mother thing. I hadn't noticed that specifically in Midnight, but you're entirely right. Maybe that was why all the secondary characters seemed so cardboard cut-out to me in Midnight -- the mother really overshadowed everyone else. I was disappointed that the only secondary char I really liked, the mousy assistant Dee Dee, didn't get a chance to bitchslap her professor. (I like to think she did so after the episode was over, though ( ... )
