No sleep till I fix everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still more problems pop up. At least the place is still under warrenty and any problems caused by the contractors will be fixed, such as....
The water line going from the diswasher to the garbage disposal is leaking....
The electrical plug in the laundry room for the dryer is aparently a plug for a kitchen range/ oven....
Those two things gotta get fixed asap, I'm running out of clean clothes. I'm invited over to a friend's place for Thanksgiving so wearing dirty ass clothes ain't gonna cut it. Mom offered to let me do laundry at her place on Thursday, after dinner. I'd get to do a visitation with my cats, who I'm sure are pissed off at me.
Time to make it up to them.....
Still today just wasn't going to go smoothly.
First, the garage door guy shows up, had a few problems getting the wireing to cooperate. That took about 2 hours.
Then the dining room table and hutch showed up, not many problems there although I would've loved it if the guys would've showed me how to turn the lights on and off. Got it figured out, so all is well.
Now, the cable guy shows up while the delivery guys were there, and was supposed to be there between 3-5pm. He had so many problems with the internet connection and didn't leave till around 7:30 pm.
Then I got the news about the diswasher and the dryer.
All this and I've hardly gotten around to unpacking.....
I also had a talk with the parental units about the roomate situation. Dad's ok with it, Mom is skeptical (rightfully so). It is my place, yes. My family is always in everybody's buisness, it's just how they are, so you go with it.
