Book club?
So I was talking with Stephanie about this. I'm kind of interested in starting a book club of sorts. I say "of sorts" because it really can be an excuse to actually meet up with each other and hang out and if we have nothing to talk about we can talk about the book (or, say limit conversation about the book to 20 or 30 minutes or something). And the other thing is, I don't want to read new books, unless there's an overwhelming majority interest in it; I'd rather go to a library and check one out. There are so many classics -- in the true sense of the word and "modern classics" -- that I haven't read. I'm sure many are in the same boat.
If anyone's interested, leave me a note. I was thinking of meeting up like once a month or something on Saturday evenings (since Chairo is gone now). Potluck could also be a part of the action. We could do this at my house or at rotating places, depending on where everyone lives.
