Anyone ever wonder who Kenyuu's parents were? Or Kouryuu's parents for that matter? Yay for speculations. I think Kenyuu's parents were rich, after all they were able to put him through medical school. It doesn't mention them though, so Kenyuu didn't care about them, or what they thought. I think madame_maya's suggestion is pretty good though. Not the toe one, though that was awsome. I mean the boating one. His parents taking a trip, knocking back a few beers, and accidently dropped him in or something. Oh!! What if he got carried towards shore by koi-fish! That would be cool.

XD Or like, he had to swim up stream like a trout, and he was flipping around up waterfalls, and avoiding bears, and he swam up stream to like the temple~!!

Oh! Oh! Or maybe it was sort of like Koumyou had a child with some girl, and she came one day and dropped kouryuu at his temple step, and he freaked out and ran to the river and threw the baby in. But then someone came by all "what's that?" and koumyou was all "huh? *reaches in* Why! It's a baby! i think i'll keep him" o_O and he was keeping that dark secret till his dieing day~~

Or maybe Kouryuu was born from the river, out of a lotus or something!
