More like the past week in review and looking forward to the next couple days:
- Last week was spent preparing for a training class I was giving. I had two different training classes to put together, and while they technically covered the same material, I approached each class differently. I cannot begin to explain how stressed out I was. I'm so glad it's over.
- Sunday I went to Fr. Chris Trenta's first Mass. It was very exciting and very emotional. You could hear his voice crack as he uttered the words of the consecration. Incredibly moving.
- After Mass I came home, did laundy, packed, and drove to Indianapolis.
- Monday through Wednesday were spent training, doing homework, trying to keep my cool in spite of a great deal of evidence that people aren't doing their job. ::breathe in....breathe out:: After a very full 3 days of training, I drove home.
- I rarely have problems driving long distances. That is, I do get bored and I want to get it over with, but I don't fall asleep or anything like that. Not so last night. The first hour and a half or so I really struggled to stay awake and keep my eyes on the road. At one point I woke up and thought, this isn't good. I closed the windows, blasted the A/C. and that seemed to do the trick. I made it home in 4 hours and 15 minutes. Hooray for speeding.
- I barely finished my homework last night - I think I turned it in around 11:30. I was partially distracted by the Cavs game but I was also exhausted.
I woke up around 7:00 this morning and thought, what the fuck! I really wanted to sleep in a little today. Oh well. Plans for the rest of the week:
- Finish getting Mary's present.
- Fly to Boston and drive to Providence.
- Last minute wedding things.
- Mary's wedding Saturday.
- Newport Sunday.
- Fly home Sunday.
- Homework, sleep, and possibly a barbeque Monday.
Have a great week everyone!
