I'm Allergic to...

Evidently I'm allergic. To something. But I have no clue what's causing my allergic reaction. Sunday morning I noticed red dots on my upper chest. I thought it was weird, but since I was scrambling to get to church on time I didn't have time to worry about them. Monday morning they were still there. I examined them closely. They reminded me of chicken pox, because they're all over my upper chest, but they're too small to be chicken pox, they don't itch, and I've already had chicken pox. That's one disease ruled out. I was very hopeful when I looked in the mirror Tuesday morning, but no such luck.

I'm not quite sure how long they've been there. It's not like I stare at my chest on a daily basis. I know, I know, if I was a guy I'd stay home all day....but I'm not. Moving on... I started taking new medicine a few weeks ago. It's possible this is one of the side effects - I should read up on it. But I do think I would've noticed earlier. I wore a new shirt Saturday. The lining is 100% polyester and the shell is 100% silk. Maybe I hate polyester? I also started using a new shampoo and conditioner set Sunday, but my hairdresser used it Saturday morning. Maybe I don't like that?

Who knows. For now I'm going to say I'm having an allergic reaction to work and must avoid it at all costs. I wonder if my boss'll go for that one.
