NABloPoMo Update and Cussing
I made it through a week of daily posting, and I think this is the hardest month for me yet. Perhaps March of this year and November of last year are too far away for me to truly know, but I'm busy and exhausted this month. Putting together a couple meaningful paragraphs is the last thing on my mind when I wake up in the morning or get home. I have ideas that float in and out of my mind throughout the day, but either I can't figure out how to formulate my thoughts or they're so completely random that I can't figure out how to write an entire post on them. But I really like challenges, so dammit, I'm going to write.
After Mass Sunday, I was talking to two teens just outside the church about Taco Bell. SteelersBoy loves it; I hate it. I told them that when he'd jokingly ask if I wanted Taco Bell I'd say, "Hell no!" They both got this shocked look on their face because it's so rare for me to cuss in front of them, and normally when I do I'm very very very frustrated. Oh, and I was about 3 feet from the church doors, which were open, and people were walking in and out of them. They got a kick out of it and told me to watch my mouth.
Have any trivia ideas? I'm creating a Trivia game for Youth Group Sunday, and I'm at a loss as to what "fun" items to quiz them on. Plus, I have no idea what's relevant, what they'd know, what they wouldn't know, etc. I mean, would they know that Lake Ontario is the smallest in area? Cause I wouldn't, and that's one of the suggested questions. I'm not looking to trick them, at least with the "fun" questions, so if you could send some easy trivia questions my way that'd be awesome.
