I don't know about you, but I'm not a big fan of shaving. I mean, I like the end result, but the actual process is a pain. It makes my shower time infinitely longer, there's potential that I'll cut myself, and sometimes I run out of shaving cream mid-process. No good. No good at all. Since it's fall...almost winter...and the Atlantic Ocean is between SteelersBoy and me, I haven't been shaving on a regular basis. For the most part this doesn't matter. I don't wear skirts on a regular basis when it's cold, but when I do I shave. But other than that, who cares? Right? Yeah...no.
Tuesday I was working with my trainer, and he had me get on a decline bench to do some sort of ab workout. (For the record, I hate anything that makes me feel like I'm falling.) If you've never seen it, you lay on your back, with your feet tucked between a bar of sorts, and your back and legs are at a 35-55 degree angle. Then you lift your torso up to meet your feet, all the while hoping you don't suddenly slide out of the leg supports. I was having trouble getting onto the bench, so Dale reached over and adjusted my foot. Now he only touched my shoe, but at that moment I was very conscious that I hadn't shaved. For about a week. My legs are white - not as white as some - but they're white. And I have dark hair. So it's noticeable. Oooops. I made sure to shave that night so I'd be "prepared" for next time.
SteelersBoy and I have been taking advantage of texting. It's great. I assumed that I couldn't text him since I can't make international calls, but that's not the case. I can text him anytime I want! It comes in pretty handy, especially when we're both busy and can't talk, but want to send a quick "I'm thinking of you" or "Guess what craziness just happened" or "I Love You". I try to check my phone bill regularly to see how many minutes have been used, and to make sure that we're not close to going over. As I was reviewing the minutes yesterday, I got this crazy thought in my head. What if international texts aren't covered? Ahhhhh...... So I started researching. Sure enough, they're not. It costs me .25 to send an international text and .20 to receive one. I have an all-inclusive text plan, and it's not covered! Sigh... I called Verizon to see if they had a package I could get (haha...can I get a package) but no such luck. I sent a quick text to SteelersBoy and said it had to stop. :-( Maybe once a day? We'll see.
